Planting a tree is a simple statement of hope. Just £15 will allow a child to attend a children’s tree planting event and plant their own native tree – we think every child should be given that chance. If we all do this, we can change our landscape for the better. The money raised from our partnership with Yellow Moon will help enable us to inspire children with a lifelong passion for trees and wildlife.
Tree For All launched in 2004 with the aim of planting 12 million trees over 5 years with the help of 1 million children. To date, over 700,000 children have taken part and we have planted nearly 4 million trees in school grounds, urban green spaces and in some huge new woods scattered across the breadth of the UK.
Breathe life into your planet!
On first impressions the UK appears to be a green and pleasant land but in actual fact we have the lowest woodland cover in Europe with just 12% compared to the European average of 44%. Trees are the lungs of the planet; they provide oxygen, absorb carbon dioxide, trap pollution and prevent soil erosion and flooding.
The UK needs more trees. Lots of them. Our ancestors planted the trees we all enjoy; shouldn’t we mark our time on the planet by planting some for tomorrow’s generation?
Why not find out how?
