childline Yellow Moon UK Ltd has been supporting ChildLine since 2007, raising over £493,919 from customers cash-back.

On hearing of the dedication of Yellow Moon UK Ltd, ChildLine founder and president, Esther Rantzen remarked:

"I am delighted to hear that Yellow Moon UK Ltd has raised so much for ChildLine, since the partnership began back in 2007.  The company’s long-term support for ChildLine is vital to continue the ongoing development of the service, so that we can answer more calls from desperate children across the UK.  Thank you to all the customers who have contributed towards the fundraising and for Yellow Moon UK Ltd’s decision to continue supporting the vital work that we do."

Over the last 25 years, ChildLine has helped over 2.6 million vulnerable children in the UK.

Children call ChildLine about a wide range of problems, but the most common are abuse (both sexual and physical), bullying, serious family tensions, worries about friends' welfare and teenage pregnancy.

Children can also contact ChildLine online – where they can live chat volunteer counsellors through a medium they are comfortable with, as well as interacting with other children through message boards.

ChildLine’s new Schools Service will be visiting 11,000 primary schools each year by 2016, to inform children in an age-appropriate fashion about the dangers of abuse and neglect. This is following research that shows younger children can be especially vulnerable to abuse because they have less awareness of what it is and may not know how to seek help when it happens.
