My children aged 10 (boy) and 8 (girl) really enjoyed hand moulding the wax and then giving their lovely candles to friends and family as gifts. Mum and dad got a wee sneak shot too but Mum forgot to put the wick in - whoops!

This is simple to use for my 6 year old daughter, although I'm not too sure about lighting the candles made so far as they are rather wobbly! Also, the instructions say to push the flint in once the candle has been crafted, which is quite hard and tends to ruin the shape of said candle. We have found rolling them in at the start is slightly easier.
