I originally brought them to decorate the mugs however they needed a varnish (which wasnt mentioned) to make the design perminent. I returned the items and purchased the treasure boxes which were a hit at my daughters 7th birthday party.

In your leaflet, it is stated the pens are good for porcelain too. No good though if you want to decorate the inside of a porcelain mug (which I also ordered) as when you get the product and read instructions it says you shouldn't use where coming into contact with food or drink! You have alternative products for porcelain but I chose these ones because they appeared multi purpose. The food/drink issue was a critical issue for deocorating porcelain mugs so this detail should be made clear/obvious on these pens.
