Encourage your children to make a heart-shaped box or dish, or add love to a greeting card or craft project with heart charms or heart beads… all ways to let that special someone know how much they mean to them.
What is a heart made of? It can be porcelain, glass, cardboard or glitter, depending on the young designer’s mood! Kids can sew a heart out of felt or make a heart-shaped hanging decoration (but don’t wear it on your sleeve)!
Whatever craft projects you have planned for the year, make sure you keep a container of heart jewels for kids’ crafts… you never know when you and the kids will need to add a sprinkling of love to whatever you’re making!
