Laughter and play help us to remember facts and enjoy the learning process. After all, who says studying shouldn’t be fun? That’s where educational puzzles and games come in.
Educational games can work in a number of different ways. They can mimic a real-life situation, allowing children to role play: a shopping game, for example will do this, and children can then practice budgeting, adding up and making change.
Other learning games turn a two-dimensional concept into a three dimensional object: puzzles and models, for example. And children can also take part in educational activities which allow them to perform their own experiments and draw conclusions. All of these add value and interest to the process of learning.
