We were NOT impressed with this item at all. Mainly because the description was rather misleading. It made it out to be a kit that came with everything needed to grow strawberries, which simply was not the case. You still have to purchase additional supplies. Plus, it makes you believe via the description, that you will be able to grow the strawberries IN the pail provided. Again, not the case. You only start them in the pail and then have to transfer them to the garden. Our soil is not good enough to grow anything in, unfortunately, so we would have had to completely replace it. Lastly, the description states that "soon" your child will be able to see the strawberries growing, etc. Once again, not the case. The instructions state that IF you plant them before April, then you MIGHT be able to see the first strawberries grow by the NEXT SEASON (in other words, an entire year later). This is simply too long to make a small child wait (in our case 4 and 5 years old). Since we won't even be living in the UK by a year from now, this was not a good item for us at all. There is nothing in the description to alert parents to these factors. We sent this back for a refund.

I was very impressed with the customer service. I had to send an item back and also needed a replacement. The service representative helped immediately, and I had the replacement via special delivery a couple of days later. I was also given a freepost address so that I would not have to pay to ship the return back. Excellent. Especially these days, when customer service is lacking in so many companies. I have also been extremely impressed with the actual items we have ordered, as they are excellent value for money. My kids love doing crafts and projects, and I found the items available via yellow moon to be exactly right at a good price.
