I did this activity with two 10 year olds, an 8 year old and a 6 year old and another mum - we all found it very difficult to do because the holes in the fabric weren't properly punched and two of the children ended up with bent needles from trying to force it through three layers of material. One of the kits had the holes punched so close to the edge that once sewn the fabric didn't hold together properly. On the plus side the decorations for the front were very attractive although none of the children could peel them off themselves.
