Product Rating: handles were too weak so connection to lights was very fragile and they broke quite easily, one didnt work, celotape fixed the problem and we had a great time. we got what we wanted in the end a disco in the dark with light up balloons to bash !
Service Rating: always a pleasure to recieve goods from yellow moon.

Product Rating: These were a huge hit with both my boys, however it wasn't long before they cracked and needed sticky-taping back together. Slightly disappointed with the quality.
Service Rating: Great value for money. Wish the cash-back for schools/pre-schools would come back though, because that makes it all the more appealing for me.
Our Response:Thank you for your feedback. I am happy to inform you the Yellow Moon Cashback Scheme will be relaunching in September. Your school or group should have been informed of this. I will pass your feedback on to the relevant department.

Product Rating: When this arrived it was broken (possibly where it had been forced into the box) and when I ordered a replacement a different item came. I was not too concerned as I was able to use the replacement item instead, although not really what I had ordered.
Service Rating: I have placed many orders with Yellow Moon and I have been very satisfied with the service I have received. I did have problems with the most recent order as (unlike previous orders) a signature was required. I work full time and if I order a package with any firm that requires a signature I arrange for the delivery to arrive at a different address so that a signature can be obtained.

With the most recent order I made, I was not aware that a signature would be required and I arranged for it to be delivered at my home address. Usually parcels are left in my cupboard outside if I am not there to collect it.

I received a postcard to confirm that the delivery had arrived but was unable to leave it as a signature was required (this was the first I know that a signature would be required). I needed to contact the parcel company to arrange an alternative date. I called the number, however, the automated service did not give an option to have it delivered to an alternative address and it was out of office hours when I called so I was not able to get through to anyone to ask. I decided to call back in the morning and spoke to a person and explained the situation. She confirmed that the parcel would be redelivered to the alternative address (which I gave to her on the phone).

The package included items that I had ordered for my daughter's birthday party on 17th July and I received a text on the Friday to say the the package would be delivered on or before the Monday. I received a further text to say it would be delivered between 12 and 3pm on the Saturday 17th July. I thought it would be tight but I could still have the items in time to use them for the party, so I arranged for a member of my family to be at the house between these times to collect the package.

The package did not show and so we ended up having the party without these items.

When I arrived home I had received a further card from the parcel company letting me know that they had tried to deliver the parcel again and that I needed to contact them to rearrange a delivery date.

I called Yellow Moon and explained what had happened and the lady I spoke to said she would cancel the order and reimburse me the money.

I think from Yellow Moon's perspective, it would be better to make it more obvious when a signature is required at the order stage and perhaps if there are items that do not require a signature that could be delivered in a different package and left, this would be more beneficial (they could be delivered at the same time but if the person is not in then the package that could be left, can be left and the items that need signature can be taken back and a card left for the customer). This way at least some of the order is being received by the customer.

Also, from the package company's perspective, I think better communication is required to make sure that messages are passed on and that the customer's request for changes to delivery are taken on board. Also perhaps the automated service could include the option for a different delivery address?

On the whole I am happy with the service I have received from Yellow Moon and I am sure this is just a one off, however if I receive the same service as this on a regular basis then I will soon go elsewhere for my goods.
Our Response:Thank you for your feedback. We do state in our terms and conditions that all parcels require a signature. However, depending on the size and/or value of the order we may choose to send your parcel on a non signature service. Our carrier/service cannot be pre determined at the point of order. I have arranged for another Light-up Laser Sword to be sent, which you should receive shortly.
