Children's Temporary Tattoos For Occasions

Temporary tattoos can be found for many occasions and in a very wide range of designs, and they can often be very popular with children. Halloween tattoos can be used at parties, as a reward for good behaviour, or simply during the days in the run up to Halloween itself. Halloween tattoos can be applied to the skin in the same way as other children’s temporary tattoos. They are placed against the skin picture side down, and a damp sponge or cloth is then firmly pressed down over the top of them. After a minute or two the cloth can be removed, and the backing paper that the Halloween tattoos are printed on will come away also, leaving the image transferred onto the skin. Temporary Halloween tattoos will last a couple of days on average, and will gradually wear away with everyday use and washing.

Temporary Halloween tattoos should be suitable for most children and are safe for young skin; however they should not be used on broken or damaged skin, such as sunburnt skin for example. Particularly sensitive skin should also be treated with caution, and if you fear that they may cause irritation then you should carefully read the manufacturer’s instructions before continuing with any applications.

Temporary tattoos can be found for many other occasions as well as Halloween, and Christmas, Easter and Valentine’s Day are other occasions where children might enjoy sporting tattoo transfers on their arms and legs. For safety reasons it is generally advisable to avoid the face when applying temporary tattoos, as the skin here tends to be more delicate and sensitive.

It is possible to find lots of different varieties of tattoos for both boys and girls, in a wide range of designs. You may wish to use them before a big event such as a Christmas or birthday party, or at a disco for example. They can also work well as party favours or rewards for young children, perhaps as part of a star chart or similar behaviour reward system. Because temporary tattoos are relatively simple to apply, you may even be able to teach children to apply themselves. Keeping the tattoo steady and in the same place whilst the transfer is occurring is important; otherwise the image can appear broken or may not adhere to the skin properly. Applying temporary tattoos whilst sitting down and resting the arm or leg on a table or chair is a good way to keep the area still and ensure that the tattoo does not move whilst it is being applied. Lots of children should be able to achieve this with a little practice, and they can even apply temporary tattoos for their friends or younger siblings! Temporary tattoos are available in a wide variety of high street stores, and you may be able to find a very large range of styles available online. Buying online can be a good idea if you are looking for something specific, and the large range available should make it easy to find the right temporary tattoos for any occasion!
